Helping the Community – Donating to local Charities

One of many ways to support the local community is through donating time and funds to charitable organizations. With many worthwhile causes available to the public, finding a charity that would best impact the cause you are passionate about is easier than ever. However, a simple online search for local charities can provide a wealth of information that may seem overwhelming to some.

Websites such as http://www.charitynavigator.org/ are one way to narrow down a search to donate to a worthy cause. As America's largest online charity navigator, you can sort through numerous giving opportunities and research what may impact the particular needs you wish to see met the most.

Another site that may be of use is http://www.volunteermatch.org/. This set up allows you to answer one simple question to begin your search. What do you care about? Once you have answered that question, opportunities will be listed in need of volunteers, and you will be able to match your talents with the needs of organizations looking for volunteers.

 Real Estate Development

The key to real estate development is understanding the potential value for property. Real estate developers look into the long-term value potential on the market now and in the future.

Developers acquire properties that they think they can improve and increase the market value. Typically, developers deal in two broad categories of real estate: commercial and residential. Commercial real estate is storefronts, restaurants, shops, and office buildings. Residential is property that is someone’s home, from single family to multi-family housing, and apartment buildings. Developers earn their money by spotting good investments. They buy a property, add value to it, and resell the property for a profit. Developers also have to be willing to take risks and have the vision needed to succeed in a volatile market and challenging industry.

While developers come from all kinds of backgrounds and disciplines, the best are those who are emotionally invested in the projects they choose. One of those developers is Think Loud Development Founder & CEO Bill Hynes, who created his company to revitalize underserved urban neighborhoods in Pennsylvania. Hynes chooses to help improve communities through his development projects, because he grew up in a struggling neighborhood himself. Hynes wants to give local residents and businesses a second chance to thrive as tomorrow’s leaders. For More Information Visit at https://www.wattpad.com/user/thinklouddevelopment
